We all have comfort zones that we fall back to. These comfort zones can vary from person to person depending on our stories and experience in our families, workplace, and social settings. We cling to these places of comfort because we are AFRAID.

We are afraid of peoples opinions, what might happne, the unknown, the risks and the list goes on. All of us might know we need to get free from this spirit of fear so we can move forward in the things the father has called us to but if it was that easy all of us would be free. A key thing to understand is we have an enemy that lives to accuse us and is like lion seeking whom he may devour. He is the father of lies and comes to steal our freedom in Christ and bring fear shame and doubt about our place before our father. The good news is that we have HOPE. Through the work of the cross we can have freedom from our past fears and current struggles. Jesus is the definition of Hope. HE is everything we need and could want in a saviour. He is gentle and meek and always is wanting to serve. Even now his making intercession for us in heaven. The cross was just the beginning for our bridegroom king and judge. He is a servant king who loves to serve us even in our weakness.

Take today to sign up again to not settle and give into your FEARS and cling onto HOPE. It is the cure for getting out of our comfort zones. If we want to serve our cities and the people who call it home we will have to move past our FEARS and learn to be COURAGEOUS.
